A Teignmouth woman has accepted compensation of approximately £4,000 after a private dentist in the town treated a healthy tooth she claimed was decayed.
Anna Grayson, a retired science journalist and former BBC broadcaster, received the settlement after successfully pursuing a negligence claim against Den Dental.
The 58-year-old had been told by dentist Karen Hanbury during a check-up in 2009 that a premolar was suffering from severe decay and that a filling was worn and leaky.
