PARTS of the timber from wrecked Teignmouth Pier are still being washed up along the coast in Dawlish.
Piles of the wood from the end of the pier appeared at both Dawlish seafront and Coryton Cove following the devastating storms.
Further high tides over the last few days have continued to damage Dawlish sea front and bring debris including seaweed, branches and general rubbish onto the paths and railings.
Parts of the stone seating, made from the original sea wall which has been replaced by Network Rail, have been ripped apart.
Repair work has started by contractors for Network Rail clearing the block paving and making the area safe.
This includes parts of the stone patio area directly under the Viaduct.
