A MAN from Dawlish Warren has been sentenced for causing death by driving without due care and attention.

James Greening, 28, of Mount Pleasant Road, pleaded guilty to causing the death of Janet Holden on April 3 at Teignmouth.

Magistrates ordered Greening to carry out a community order of 200 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £95.

He was further ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and disqualified from driving for two years.
