TEIGNBRIDGE residents now have until the end of the month to give their views about Devon’s future.

‘If you live, work, study or have a business in Teignbridge, there's still time to have your say and help shape how services are delivered in our communities’, says Teignbridge District Council (TDC) in its latest Residents Newsletter.

‘We have listened to feedback and have extended the deadline to complete our survey - you now have until the end of August to share your views’, the council added.

In December 2024, the Government announced plans to simplify local government structures across England.

As part of Local Government Reorganisation, or LGR, areas like Devon - currently served by both district and county councils (a two-tier system) - are being asked to consider moving to a single-tier system known as a unitary authority.
