WHILE work continues on repairs at Dawlish following storm damage, Network Rail has closed the footpath.

The path along the old sea wall between Dawlish and Dawlish Warren remains shut for safety reasons.

A spokesman said: ‘Our teams need to repair the wall that separates walkers from the railway, so please don’t attempt to access the footpath in the meantime.

‘Trains are running again in both directions but please do check before you travel.’
