PEOPLE gathered on Dawlish seafront last night to take part in a vigil.
Waves of Hope was a way for the town to show its support for all those working to provide humanitarian aid.
It was organised by Christians Together for Dawlish and District as an informal gathering at the Viaduct.
Prayers and readings were said ‘for all involved in providing humanitarian aid and working for peace’.
