From Saturday, April 30, to Monday, May 2, there’s a wide range of walks to join, each with its own level of accessibility. There are easy, moderate and more difficult walk to choose from with a range of lengths.

Saturday’s walks set off from Bovey Tracey, Drewesteignton and Merrivale, and you’ll be guided by experienced walkers. Sunday’s set off from Buckfastleigh as well as other locations, while Monday’s walks include one suitable for mobility scooter users.

A spokesperson said: ‘Following on from a two-year delay due to Covid, we are very pleased to announce that the Dartmoor Way Walking Festival is back.

‘We will have a variety of guided walks on offer together with family and limited mobility options. We will also have a family cycle ride along the Wray Valley Trail to mark its inclusion into the Dartmoor Way Cycle Route. It should be a great weekend!’
