THAT was the day the teddy bears had their picnic... in this particular day in June 1989 you didn’t have to go down to woods, but instead head to The Lawn at Dawlish where the town’s Cygnet Playgroup was making the most of the weather and furry friends and their young owners were having fun.
And yes, as the song goes, after all that fun they did head off to bed as they were tired little teddy bears.
