COVID cases have fallen by just over a third in Teignbridge over the past week, but 14 people have died.

Latest government figures show that between April 1 and 7, 1,016 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of -34.5% compared to the previous seven days.

Between April 1 and 7, there have been 14 deaths in Teignbridge within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.

The Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust reports there were were 65 patients in hospital with coronavirus on April 5. Two of them were on a mechanical ventilator.
