Man to go on trial for cocaine possession

A MAN has been sent for trial accused of possessing cocaine with intent to supply to others in Newton Abbot.
James Matthews, 57, from Liverpool, has pleaded not guilty to the charge of possessing 496 grams of the drug.
Magistrates remanded Matthews in custody with a trial date at Exeter Crown Court scheduled for September 1.
