A NEWTON Abbot man has been found guilty of assaulting a woman.
Jacob James Brinton, aged 35, of Moorsend, had denied he assaulted the woman in Newton Abbot, causing her actual bodily harm.
He was found guilty by South and West Devon Magistrates’ Court and was committed to Exeter Crown Court for sentence.
He was granted bail on condition he does not make contact with the woman or enter a named street in Newton Abbot.
