FINES totalling £120 were imposed on an Ashburton man by South and West Devon Magistrates’ Court.

Christopher Edward O’Sullivan, aged 50, of North Street, Ashburton, pleaded guilty to possessing 0.5 grams of diamorphine in Newton Abbot. He was fined £80 for this.

He also admitted at Newton Abbot possessing 1.1 grams of cannabis and was fined £40.

O’Sullivan was also ordered to pay £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and £34 to fund victim services. The court ordered the drugs to be forfeited and destroyed.
