A TEIGNMOUTH man has been given a community order for damaging a pub window.

Andrew Meakins, 21, of Barnpark Terrace, pleaded guilty to damaging a window costing £450 at the Devon Arms pub on May 24 2022.

He also admitted failing without reasonable excuse to attend Newton Abbot court on March 23 2023 having been released on bail.

Meakins also pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer in Plymouth on April 16 2023.

Magistrates imposed a sentence of a community order of 120 hours unpaid work.

He was also ordered to pay compensation of £450.
