A 27-YEAR-OLD Heathfield man who supplied cocaine to a mother who died, has been jailed for two years and nine months.
Reece Webb, of Drum Way, admitted supplying cocaine in 2023 in Exeter.
Exeter Crown Court heard a woman, who had an 11-year-old daughter, died from an overdose.
Webb was arrested and made full admissions about his involvement.
The court heard Webb was a hard working man who used cocaine socially but this developed into a £100 a day addiction.
He began supplying the drug to feed his own addiction and make money.
Judge Stephen Climie said supplying class A drugs can have a devastating impact as in this case where a mother died.
He said the least sentence he could pass was two years and nine months immediate custody.
