A DRUG-driver from Kingsteignton has been banned for 16 months.
Shane Christopher Voisey, aged 31, of Ley Lane, pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen Passat when the proportion of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in his blood exceeded the limit.
As well as the ban he was fined £120 and must pay £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and £36 to fund victim services.
For driving the vehicle without insurance he was fined a further £120 and received no separate penalty for driving the vehicle without a licence or excise tax.
He was fined a further £120 and banned for driving while over the limit of the drug Benzoylecgonine (BZE).
