MORE than 200 of the finest and most creative designers and makers will be showcasing their work at next month’s Craft Festival Bovey Tracey.

The festival, with its growing international reputation, returns on June 17-19, and this year it boasts two celebrities who will complement the largest collection of designer makers the event has hosted to date.

Held in the parkland setting of Mill Marsh Park, Bovey Tracey, the award-winning craft event is considered one of the finest in Europe.

In addition to some 200 designer maker businesses showing their goods, there’ll be more live craft demonstrations and activities than ever before.

Special guest Keith Brymer-Jones, right, the TV judge and potter, will be at the festival for a Master Class and live audiences on Friday June 17.

He’ll be sharing stories from his new autobiography ‘Boy in a China Shop’, and so popular is the demand, marquee capacity has been doubled.

Making his first appearance at the festival is Aardman Animation’s Jim Parkyn, left, who’ll be hosting family workshops across the weekend.

Jim, an internationally renowned model maker and stop animation expert, has played a key role in creating characters for the hugely popular ‘Shaun and Sheep’ and ‘Chicken Run’ films.

As well as workshops for children and the grown-ups,demonstrations and the chance to buy some beautiful jewellery, fabrics, ornaments and furniture direct from the makers, you’ll also be able to nourish the body with a wide range of pop-up food and drink stalls.
