A LANDLORD and rugby club have taken Teignbridge Council to task for an apparent lack of action to remove a caravan squatter from a Teignmouth public path.
The caravan has been parked on the path leading to the South West Water pumping station at Milford Park, close to Shaldon Bridge.
The authority has been accused of failing to act on a complaint about the situation dating back to August.
David Jarvis, who owns the adjoining Bridge Mews, said he first complained to Teignbridge in August.
‘But the caravan and the occupier are still there. I was told the council’s solicitor was dealing with it, but nothing seems to have been done.
