ORGANISERS of this weekend’s Live at Powderham concerts have issued advice for ticket holders in advance of the four day event.
Up to 120,000 tickets have been sold for the four nights of shows featuring Teddy Swims, Alanis Morissette and Lewis Capaldi which start tomorrow.
A spokesman for the event said: ‘We are closely monitoring the weather forecast and, with higher temperatures expected, we have put a number of additional welfare measures in place to help everyone stay safe, comfortable and enjoy the event.’
Organisers have issued a ‘festival hear advisory and enhanced welfare measures’.
These include doubling the water allowance concert goers can take into the venue.
They will be allowed to bring in two 500ml sealed bottles of water per person - previously this had been one bottle.
Free water refill stations will be available throughout the festival.
Refillable water bottles are permitted and can be used at the water stations.
Mini fans will be allowed.
There will be an enhanced welfare team presence on site to provide support and assistance throughout the event.
Concert goers are being encouraged to apply and regularly reapply sun cream; wear a hat and cover shoulders where possible and stay hydrated throughout the day.
Wear light, loose-fitting clothing suitable for hot weather.
The spokesman added: ‘The safety and wellbeing of all attendees remains our priority. Please look after yourselves and each other, and don’t hesitate to speak to our welfare team if you need any assistance.
‘We look forward to welcoming you to the festival.’
