SOUTH Devon Singers are putting out a call to all those who participated in any way in the first performances of the science oratorio Lifetime: Songs of Life and Evolution, by their musical director David Haines.

July 2004 saw three performances by a choir of 350 children, teens and adults at Dawlish Leisure Centre of the 17 choral songs with titles like Mutate!, Queen Bee, Swallow, Living Light, Cetaceans, and Mister Darwin.

This last song was later incorporated by Kew Gardens in its Great Plant Hunt project which was sent to 22,300 UK schools.
