A compassion morning at the Avenue Church in Newton Abbot was held to raise money for the Syrian refugee crisis, at the weekend.

The next fundraising event will be a wine and cheese evening on Friday, November 27, at Old Forde House, organised by Cllr Gordon Hook.

Tickets are available for the event from Choice Words Bookshop in Newton Abbot and from both Cllr Jackie Brodie and Cllr Hook.
