‘IT is vital people have a choice of how they can contact police’, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon has said.
This comes as Police and Crime Commissioner Alison Hernandez officially opened three more police enquiry offices to the public: Ivybridge, Liskeard and Tavistock.
‘Bringing face-to-face policing back into the heart of communities is a passion of mine and one of the achievements I am most proud of, as I am told time and again how important it is to the residents of Devon and Cornwall to have a choice of how you can get in touch with police’ Commissioner Hernandez said
Commissioner Hernandez is due to open the office at Exeter later this year.

‘The project has been an enormous success.
‘More than 72,000 people have used a police station front desk since May 2024.
‘This proves real value with a relatively little investment; the project to date has cost just £2.5m’ Commissioner Hernandez added.
