FIREFIGHTERS dealt with a chimney fire at a home in Dawlish yesterday (Saturday).

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: ‘One fire engine was mobilised to reports of a fire in the area of Windward Lane.

‘On arrival crews discovered a chimney fire and used a 105 ladder and safety at height equipment to deal with the fire.’
