The weekend saw the semi-finals and finals played in the ten-and-under and eight-and-under events at Teignmouth Tennis Club's junior tournament.
During the last couple of weeks more than 25 youngsters competed in these age groups for the chance to qualify for the finals day.
Club coaches Mark Syms and Ricki Foster were delighted that so many children of this age competed in the event.
Syms said that once again it goes to show how the club's training programme is allowing many young children to progress though the system into tournament play.
Charlotte Greenwood was crowned eight-and-under club champion and Joe Wilcox the ten-and-under winner.
All the matches were well contested and played in an excellent spirit.
