Marion Czaban, of Brookfield Drive, Teignmouth, treasurer, Teignmouth Friends of Force cancer charity, writes:

We thank all those who attended our Christmas Fair on Saturday, November 5, at the Methodist Church hall.

We raised £1,775 and Barclays Bank has matched £750 of it, bringing the total to a huge £2,525.

We couldn't have done so well without all the donations, helpers on the day and the people of Teignmouth supporting us.

Also a big thank you to the Co-op for allowing us to sell raffle tickets in their store for two weekends before the event.

We have had a very busy year and have raised £11,100 – our best sum to date.
