MORETONHAMPSTEAD Parish Council is inviting community members to join its task group focused on the potential transfer and management of public toilets in the town.

As part of its detailed work on the potential transfer of the Court Street public toilets from Teignbridge Council, the parish council has set up a Task & Finish Group to look closely at surveys, costs, risks and future options.

As such, the council are now looking for community members with relevant experience - for example in surveying, property, construction, building management, or similar fields - who might be willing to get involved.

Meetings will take place during the daytime, and the level of involvement can be flexible depending on availability, the council said.

A spokesperson for the council: ‘If you have skills that could support this work and would like to be part of the group, please get in touch with the clerk at [email protected].

‘Your expertise could make a real difference’.
