THE Christmas lights are on and Late Night Shopping returns to Newton Abbot tonight (Wednesday).
The chance to see all the treats in the town’s stores comes just as Lockdown 2 ends.
Sally Henley, Newton Abbot town centre development manager, promises: ‘We have extended trading hours on our Wednesday late night shopping evenings where there will be music and our fantastic festive lights to help set the Christmas mood.
‘In the tradition of ‘Hands, Face, Space’ we will also have hand sanitiser and seasonal face coverings to give away to shoppers for that added safety and reassurance.
‘As an added bonus, those shopping on the late nights will find our regular market traders in the Square and Courtenay Street and there will be free parking from 4pm in the TDC car parks which don’t have barriers.
‘I look forward to welcoming shoppers back into Newton Abbot!’
