DEVON bus company Stagecoach is facing two charges under health and safety legislation.

The Health and Safety Executive is prosecuting Stagecoach Devon Ltd on two charges relating to practices at the Torquay depot in Regent Close.

The first states that on or before October 3 2019, the company, as an employer, failed to ensure, as far as reasonably practical, to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all employees, including David Heathfield, during the morning run out.

A second charge states the same for the date of October 3 2019.

The case was adjourned for trial.
