Breakneck Blues Band held a free two hour gig at the Teignmouth Methodist Church on Saturday in aid of the charity Shetlerbox.

The event raised £300 and the balance required for the box will be donated by the Rotary Club of Dartmoor Vale.

Rotary club spokesman David Molyneux said:’This is a shining example of where a local band together with a nearby rotary club has given its time to raise money to aid others who are suffering from natural disasters or the effects of conflicts throughout the world.’
