RESIDENTS in Teignbridge could be bagging themselves a monthly prize after the district council launched a new recycling campaign.

Called Operation Stack, the new brainwave is aimed at improving street cleanliness and reducing the number of items blown out of boxes.

The campaign gives residents who stack up their recycling boxes on collection days the chance to win a prize in a monthly draw.

It has been launched in response to feedback received last winter when windy weather caused recycling to be blown around because the boxes were not weighed down.
