A MAN in his twenties has been taken to hospital with ‘potentially life-changing injuries’ following a crash on the M5 this morning (Thursday, April 23).

Police are appealing to speak to witnesses following the collision on the M5 at Exeter.

The collision, which involved a motorbike and two cars, occurred at 8.13am on the northbound carriageway between junctions 31 and 30.

The bike rider, a man in his 20s, sustained serious, potentially life-changing injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment, Devon and Cornwall Police have said.

The M5 was closed at junction 31 whilst the scene was examined by specialist forensic collision investigators.
