AN exhibition to celebrate drawing has been acclaimed as a big success.

The Big Draw at the TAAG centre is part of an international annual promotion of drawing, and was organised in Teignmouth for the first time by Rachael Bennett, who said there had been many favourable comments from the public about the interesting and high standard of work.

Julia Vella, one of the TAAG directors, said they were delighted with the exhibition.

‘The show includes excellent work by local schools showing alongside professional artists. The high standard of the exhibition, as well as the opportunity to take part in a variety of drawing activities, makes this show one not to be missed.

‘The TAAG exhibition is featured on the Big Draw website and we hope this will become an annual community opportunity for all to experience.’

The exhibition closes today.
