THE South Devon Railway (SDR) are calling upon rail enthusiasts, budding photographers and history buffs to be a part of its photography competition.

A ‘Story of South Devon Railway’ in pictures will celebrate the bicentennial of the modern railway.

The SDR are looking for photos telling the stories of the people, livelihoods, and history around its heritage line.

Simply gather your images* (300dpi @ 100%), then pop onto the SDR website page upload them and complete the form.

Once catalogued, one lucky person will win a ticket for a Gold Steam Drive a Train Experience Package, worth £645.

All photos should be shared by 12 noon on Friday, June 20.

South Devon Railway may use the photos for future promotion, these will be credited.

A ’Story of South Devon Railway’ in pictures will be on show as a summer outdoor exhibition at Buckfastleigh Station from mid-July 2025.

Only one entry per person, with a maximum of five photos (50MB limit) will be accepted.

Entrants completing the form must be aged 18 years or over.
