THE troubled Co-operative Bank, which has lost millions of pounds, is closing its Teignmouth branch as a cost-cutting measure.

Paul Denton, head of the branch network, told the Post: 'This decision has not been taken lightly and has been subject to careful analysis where we have sought to keep the impact upon customers to a minimum.

'
