TEIGNMOUTH councillors have given their backing to the two doctors who could be in trouble for their outspoken opposition to the removal of the minor injury unit and other changes at the town's hospital.
As reported in the Teignmouth Post last week, husband and wife GPs Tamsin Venton and Julian Squires received a letter from NHS England regional office last week, stating there had been a complaint about their behaviour at a recent clinical commissioning group meeting to discuss the future of the Teignmouth and Dawlish hospitals.<
