Stella Small, of Maudlin Drive, Teignmouth, writes:
As a regular user of the Alice Cross Centre, I was invited to join a group to participate in the Armed Forces day celebrations. Dress up, they said, and having nothing else suitable I just went for a red, white and blue theme.
What a day. The weather was kind. The people were lovely friendly and the activities were entertaining.
The Chordettes sang a medly and cadets gave a display and later a display of carefully manipulated motorised scooters.
Sid Little proved a competent entertainer and allowed people to photograph him.
A group of Alice Cross members joined him and others on stage for a grand old sing-song.
It ws a wonderful afternoon and a big thank you to all who contributed.
