FERRY FLAG FURY: In today’s edition of the Teignmouth Post we carry a story about Shaldon ferry operator Greg Allen who is furious because he claimed a new EU directive meant he will no longer be able to fly the Red Ensign.

The article went on to say that Mr Allen ’was told that from next year that he will have to fly the European flag from the ferry’.

This was of course an April Fool prank!
