DO you have a grandmother’s ring that needs restoring? A weathered pub sign that’s seen better days? A family heirloom destroyed through the generations?
BBC Two have called upon the Teignbridge community for damaged family and community antiques for their second season of The Repair Shop.
Having aired the first season in March, earlier this year, they fix, repair and breathe new life into objects brought in from members of the public.
An antidote to throwaway culture, The Repair Shop shines a light on the wonderful treasures to be found in homes across the country.
The series follows a team of restoration experts as they work side by side in beautiful barn nestled deep in the British countryside.
A spokesman said: ‘With expertise in furniture repair, metal work, mechanics, ceramics, restoration and much more, there is no restoration project that fazes The Repair Shop crew.’
As part of their Christmas special, the team are specifically looking for heirlooms with a significance to the Christmas period.
