A TEIGNMOUTH man is taking part in the gruelling London to Paris cycle ride, to help raise money in memory of his mum, who recently died of cancer.
Alex Lyons, 38, and three friends will have to ride 300-miles in four days.
And to bring in more funds for Rowcroft Hospice, Torquay, a painting of a robin by his mother has been made into cards, with more than 1,100 sold and more orders coming in.
Mr Lyons – pictured right with his mum – is an energy systems consultant with local company Cooks Energy.
