LEMONFEST has announced more details of its lineup this year, including country house giants Alabama 3, critically acclaimed reggae star Kiko Bun and local favourites Mad Dog Mcrea.
The one-day event at Newton Abbot Racecourse is now in its seventh successful year.
Tickets are on sale now for this year’s bash on June 4, but all early bird discount tickets have sold out.
The brainchild of two old school friends, Lemonfest has never received any funding and grown from its own success. The only beer, cider and food on sale at the festival is locally brewed and produced.
Organiser Matt Freemantle said: ‘We’re over the moon to add a headliner of Alabama 3’s calibre to an already stellar line-up.
‘We’re also expanding our dance arena this year to hold nearly 1,000 people on its own, so it’s going to be one hell of a party.’
The festival attracts thousands of music lovers each year with live music and DJs across six stages.
Previous acts include Ben Howard, alternative pop rock trio The Subways and reggae greats Gentleman’s Dub Club.
The Guardian newspaper dubbed this year’s headliners Alabama 3 ‘the best live band in the country’.
Reggae star Kiko Bun adds Lemonfest to his packed summer of festival slots including Lovebox, Notting Hill Carnival and Bestival.
And Mad Dog Mcrea’s unique blend of folk rock, pop, gypsy jazz and bluegrass never fails to capture audiences with infectious songs.
