A MAN was arrested after a fight broke out between two drivers on the A38.

Police were called at around 4.40pm on Sunday, November 2 following a report of a fight on the A38 between the Chudleigh Knighton and Newton Abbot turn offs.

It was reported that following a driving incident, two men exited their vehicles and became involved in an altercation.

One man was left with injuries to his rib and back, Devon & Cornwall Police say.

‘Officers located a suspect in his 30s at an address in Buckfastleigh and arrested him on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm’, says a spokesperson for the force.

‘He remains in police custody at this time’, the spokesperson added.
