Dawlish GP Dr Matthew Fox spoke about the changes in the NHS affecting local people and GP services. He is one of the clinical leads of Teignmouth and Dawlish district, now known as Coastal Locality, where changes have been made following extensive consultation with the local community.

Several questions arose from the floor, and a useful outcome was the statement that an increasing number of diagnostic and medical clinics are now being held at Teignmouth Hospital.
