GIFT hunters were treated to late-night shopping with a Dickensian twist at the Newton Abbot Victorian Evening on Wednesday.

A curious gentleman on a Penny Farthing and a stilt walking Victorian policeman were spotted about the town throughout the evening.

Once again, local charities were in the Market Square from 6-8pm selling a selection of Christmassy gifts.
