HISTORIAN Colin Vosper will be the guest speaker at Teign U3A’s monthly meeting.

Colin, who is well known for his lively and entertaining talks, will be talking about Kelly Mine near Lustleigh.

The meeting will take place at the Courtenay Centre in Newton Abbot.

The group is encouraging new members to join and guests will be welcome.

Refreshments will be served from 2pm with the April 26 meeting starting at 2.30pm.

Existing members can renew their subscriptions and new members can join up.

Among the diverse range of groups run by the club are knitting and the focus group.

Members of the knitting group share their skills to help others and exchange advice.

It also takes on projects, including knitting beanie hats for Syrian refugees, toys for African orphans and blankets for premature babies.

The focus group are enthusiastic photographers of all abilities who want to increase their enjoyment of photography.
