POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car was damaged in Bovey Tracey.

The vehicle was left parked overnight in the Methodist Church car park in Le Molay-Littry Way when the incident happened.

One wing mirror of the Peugeot was completely ripped off and the other was badly damaged.

Both mirrors will need replacing at a cost of several hundred pounds.

Other cars in the car park had mirrors moved but not broken off.

The incident happened overnight between Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13.
