A CASUALTY has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a collision in Newton Abbot this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Queensway after a pedestrian was involved in a collision with a car.
The accident happened at about 3.10pm at Queensway.
Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision at the location.
An update from officers said: ‘One person has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries. The incident is ongoing.’
Local road closures are in place.
Police and ambulance crews are in attendance.
