TWO people were rescued from a capsized dingy off Shaldon Quay.
Teignmouth RNLI lifeboat crew launched just after 2pm on Saturday afternoon after reports of two casualties in the water.
The Two Annes, Teignmouth’s RNLI’s Atlantic 85 class lifeboat, was launched with four volunteer crew on board and the crew quickly found the casualties clinging to their capsized dingy in the river Teign just off Shaldon Quay.
The casualties were taken aboard the safety of the lifeboat and back to shore, where they were met by paramedics to check for injuries.
During this time, the overturned dinghy had been taken to sea with the outgoing tide.
The crew were then asked to the retrieve the dinghy before returning to the boat house.
