A TRAPPED person was cut from their car this afternoon (Sunday), following a single vehicle crash on the A38A.
Fire control received a call from Highways that there was a collision on the A38A at West Pear Tree, Dart Bridge, with one person trapped in their vehicle.
A spokesperson said: ‘Fire control immediately mobilised three fire engines along with a supporting officer.
These came from Ashburton, Newton Abbot and Totnes.
‘Once on scene crews confirmed a single vehicle RTC and got to work using hydraulic rescue equipment.
‘Crews successfully released the casualty using hydraulic cutting equipment and handed the casualty was left in the hands of Ambulance personnel.
‘These are the full and final details.’
