A MAN was left injured in Teignmouth yesterday (Thursday, January 21) after being assaulted in the street.

??Police officers are investigating reports that a male was set upon by a group of people in Bank Street at around 4pm.

??It is alleged the victim, aged in his 30s, was initially hit with a car and then assaulted by the occupants of the vehicle. ??He sustained a head injury and superficial cuts. ??

Officers, including armed units, later attended addresses in Teignmouth and Dawlish.

??A 58-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, both from Teignmouth, and a 39-year-old man from Dawlish have been arrested on suspicion of attempted GBH.
