THREE fire crews hurtled towards Exeter Racecourse at Haldon to deal with a tumble dryer blaze.
The alarm was raised at 4.30pm on Friday when smoke was seen coming from an extractor fan in a room at the venue.
Firefighters removed the troublesome appliance outside.
A thermal imaging camera was used to make sure the fire had not penetrated cavity walls.
A fire spokesman said an electrical fault was to blame for the incident.
