A MAN was overcome by smoke during a kitchen fire in Teignmouth on Sunday, February 21.
The casualty was given oxygen treatment by firefighters from the resort after the alarm was raised at 2.20pm in Salisbury Terrace.
The fire crew gained entry to the property where they immediately called for an ambulance for the man.
A fire spokesman said there had been a small fire in the kitchen involving cooking.
Duty of care was left with the paramedics.
